Born in Rome in 1990 where she lives and works, Marta completed her studies in Graphic Design and Photography at Accademia delle Belle Arti (Rome's University of Fine Arts) and she specialized in editorial illustration at Mimaster in Milan. Since 2015 she’s been working as freelance illustrator. Her works includes artworks/illustrations for children’s books and for international newspapers and magazines like The New York Times, Illustratore Italiano, Liber Magazine and Scoop. Her first book Ciao Ciao Giocattoli published for Carthusia Edizioni won the Silent Book Contest 2016. Her illustrations have been shown at South Korea's Nami International Illustration Concours 2017 and have been selected by 3x3 Annual n.13 and Folio Society - The Book Illustration Competition 2017. She has recently won the Italian illustration contest Saranno Illustri 2017, a segment of Illustrifestival, held in Vicenza.
